Rulun asked Creed Strategic Imaging to develop the identity for a new rum brand they were looking to launch that would target 25 to 35 year-old men who greatly value the quality of the liquor they drink.

The name Rulun is a variation of the Spanish word for machete, ‘rula’. Being the traditional tool used by farmers to cut the sugarcane that serves as the base of rum, we thought it would be great to reference this in various ways in the branding.
