BARQ’S 120 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Barq’s root beer was celebrating their 120th anniversary and asked Stag & Hare to help them explore what that could look like across the brand’s landscape. This included exploring special edition packaging, graphic elements to be used in advertising and in-store, and photography style.
We developed a range of packaging concepts, from leveraging vintage Barq’s brand elements to utilizing more modern aesthetics. The approach we took with the photography was to highlight the role Barq's plays in a variety of fun and relaxed social situations.
Ultimately, the client’s budget didn’t allow for a complete overhaul of the packaging for the anniversary but here are a few of my favorite ideas from the exploration.
